Technically, they cannot do all of the things that Siri can do on an iPhone - but they also live on Android phones - and Fire devices where they can do many of those things as well. And despite the fact that you do mention it in other sections - you seem to have forgotten that Siri on other devices like the Apple TV, iPad and Apple watch CANNOT do all of those things. When I asked about traffic on the local interstate, however, Siri was honest about its shortcomings and gave me information about general traffic conditions. Not only can it give you a sense of how long it will take you to get someplace, but it can also offer you directions and automatically start GPS navigation. While Siri can get transit directions as well, it does a mediocre job of answering questions about traffic, since it just kicks you to the iOS Maps app.
They’re even good for when you just want to share some songs with someone regularly. The key feature of the Echo Dot with Clock, as you may imagine, is the addition of a LED digital clock to the front of the round Dot. The display is always on and shows the time, temperature, or other at-a-glance information. The digital clock also makes it ideal for bedside use or even in a bathroom, which is where I opted to use mine. For light-sensitive sleepers, a built-in light sensor adjusts the display’s brightness to keep it neutral for sleeping. If on the approved list, you can establish a connection immediately.
Multitasking: Google Assistant
Like a larger version of the Google Home Hub, the Nest Hub Max is big-screen smart display for your home, with a front-facing camera for video calls and the facility to check on your home remotely. In the end, the race was a close one, with Alexa pulling ahead of Google Assistant, thanks to strong performance in the smart home and communications arenas. But Google was certainly no slouch, and the fact remains that both are still strong choices, depending on which capabilities you prioritize. While both do pretty well in the case of general knowledge and extendability, for example, if you want the broadest possible support for music and podcast services, Alexa is probably the one to pick. If, on the other hand, you have a household with multiple people in it, each of whom want to get their own personal information via a smart speaker, Google Assistant might be a better choice. Both assistants obviously integrate with their company's respective music services, and in some cases offer the ability to link to third-party offerings as well.
This compatibility makes it easier to automate your home with Alexa. It comes with better sound quality and a wall-mounting option to save space on shelves and tables. Another feature we like is the option to show curated photos from Google Earth and artwork when the screen's not in use. This is in addition to drawing from your Google Photos collection. It adds a touch of sophistication to your space with its minimally rounded corners and matte touches.

Google Assistant, meanwhile, uses the Google Shopping platform, so it has a wider reach. However, finding specific products or getting the results you want may be more challenging, especially without an accompanying smart display. You can also reorder an item, but Google can’t give the same recommendations as Alexa can. Both the Echo Dot line and the Nest Mini line allow you to use their respective assistants to set up voice shopping capabilities. However, they approach this in significantly different ways.

My opinion is that Sonos app is better than Bose home speaker. Sonos software makes it easy to redo all the superb audio in a house. Soundbar, the company finally has a One equivalent for its TV speakers. Apple is going to expand its end-to-end encryption through Advanced Data Protection and is adding two other security options as well. All of these subscription options are very cool, but ultimately, when it comes down to it, free is free. We rarely uttered, "What? I can't understand you." It was a simpler time. We've all used FaceTime or some similar video chat capability on our phones. The Google Home app is functional but not well organized — accessories are in a long vertical list, and it’s not always obvious how to create automation routines. Some good news is that outside of photos, both platforms support plenty of third-party alternatives.
